DESCRIPTION:Art Zagreb is an annual international contemporary art fair. Focusing only on contemporary art and living artists it is a great meeting place for artists\, collectors\, gallerists\, curators and art lovers in general. The leading art fair in Croatia since the first edition in 2018 and the one–stop shop for Croatian contemporary art. Aside from two dozen stands\, a four–day event hosts exhibitions\, lectures\, panels\, movie screenings and parties. \nIn addition to Art Zagreb\, ALU also organizes a series of events called ALU Perspektiva 2\, and among them is the international group exhibition of the art academies of Croatia\, India\, China and Serbia called “Five”. Three Croatian art academies from Zagreb\, Osijek and Rijeka will present the best works of their students.

DESCRIPTION:We invite you to the ART FAIR ZAGREB art fair\, which will be held from October 21 – 24\, 2021 at the Zagreb Fair. \nOur association START ART Center for Visual Arts will present itself in a colorful atmosphere of our members’ works. At this year’s Dijana Čović Art Fair\, Danijela Novak & Marijana Podgorelec are exhibiting their paintings\, photographs and ceramics. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nART FAIR ZAGREB\, the largest art fair in Croatia\, is a new topic within the AMBIENTA Fair.\nThe 1st ART FAIR ZAGREB was held from 9-13 October 2019 within the scope of the 46th AMBIENTA Fair in the pavilion 6 at an exhibition space comprising 4\,000 m2. The fair presented painters\, sculptors and photographers as well as renowned artists and gallerists at more than 130 stands with over 300 artists from 16 countries. It attracted a total of 21\,259 visitors. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe rich accompanying programme of ART FAIR ZAGREB featured various art performances\, painting competitions\, auctions\, promotional sales and interesting expert lectures.

DESCRIPTION:We invite you to the exhibition on Saturday\, June 5\,  at 6 pm at the Novi Zagreb Cultural Center. \nThe idea of ​​the project of the multimedia exhibition “In Search of Happiness” problematizes the issue of human happiness in times that have filled modern man with fear\, destruction\, alienation and helplessness. The authors of the exhibition\, Dijana Čović\, Lidija Kraljević\, Danijela Novak and Marijana Podgorelec\, present their works through various media such as videos\, paintings\, ceramics and installations. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe New Zagreb Cultural Center is a traditional place where citizens acquire the habits of participation in culture\, it is a meeting place of various cultural and artistic practices that enable the establishment of social dialogue. The goal of the action “Colorful Yard” is to connect civil society\, entrepreneurship and tourism through the cultural offer of the Center for Culture. The exhibition is open to visitors until June 25\, 2021. Admission is FREE.

The life of the artist born in Vukovar is largely marked by the Vukovar tragedy\, persecution and difficult days of pain\, transforming her creativity and artistic work.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDijana Čović’s painting encapsulates several worlds\, so\, although women’s motives and questioning a woman’s identity are in the foreground\, other topics that inspire her are also on display.
